Thoughts On the 10th Anniversary of 9/11
9/11 was not “tragedy.” 9/11 was an act of war.
The destruction of the World Trade Center was done to us by a loathsome enemy. The hole in the ground that remains today is an appalling failure of will that we did to ourselves.
Mayor Bloomberg says there is not enough room at ground zero commemoration today for the New York Fire Department. But there was room to accommodate 343 of them on 9/11.
Nanny Bloomberg has plenty of energy to spend trying to get the transfats out of New York restaurants, but he can’t seem to get the lead out of his pants to get the World Trade Center rebuilt.
