The Darkness Before The Dawn
The darkest hour is just before the dawn. It is a dark hour for Americans in this final year of the the hopey-changey Obama nightmare of unemployment, massive expansion of government in every nook and cranny of our lives, spending money that doesn’t even exist and is supported by borrowing from the future for today, class warfare from Washington seeking to divide citizens and even families for mythical political gains, destruction of the very wealth Obama seeks to redistribute, not to mention a total denial of the sort of American exceptionalism that has made America the greatest country on earth.
Victor Davis Hanson, The Coming Post-Obama Renaissance, sees a new dawn coming out of this mess. He pens this great line:
“The spell has now passed; and we are stronger for its passing. There is going to be soon a sense of relief that we have not experienced in decades. In short, sadder but wiser Americans will soon be turned loose with a vigor unseen in decades.”
I can hardly wait. The Obama economic wreckage and political demoralization will take years to repair. After November, 2012 — we can get started.
