Ethanol-Free Gas For Your Lawnmower, Snow Blower or Gasoline-Powered Weed Whacker, Chain Saw, Etc.

I think ethanol is a scam and is damaging the environment. The personal damage done by ethanol is to gasoline engines we own, and it is small engines with carburetors that are damaged the most and run badly on ethanol. But there is now an ethanol-free alternative for our lawn mowers, gas-powered weed whackers, chain saws, etc. marketed by Trusouth Oil Co. of Louisiana as Trufuel 4T for 4-cycle engines (most lawnmowers) and Trufuel50 and Trufuel40 for 2-cycle engines (weed Whackers, chain saws, etc.). It can be found at retailers or you can order it directly from the company on the internet [How To Buy Trufuel] and have it delivered to your door in cases of 6 individual quart cans each:
I have been using Trufuel in my lawnmower, weed whacker and chain saw and love it. I order it directly from the company (no sales tax and low shipping rates) although it is sold by at least one retailer near where I live. Trufuel is not cheap (more reason to get rid of the ethanol boondoggle) but is cheaper if you order it on the internet. Shipping is fast and safe.
When I had a problem with an order the customer service was top notch, couldn’t have been better. They remained friendly and helpful even after I discovered that my problem was my own fault and not theirs. They had sent me a replacement shipment for one I thought I had not received. After receiving the replacement I discovered that I actually did receive the earlier one. I called to arrange for payment of the second shipment. They said no, keep it, it’s more trouble to process a payment. My protestations that it would not be right for me to keep the second shipment without paying didn’t help. So I made a charitable contribution in their name to assuage my guilt over putting them through the hassle. Maybe they can take the deduction when I send them the receipt, but I bet that’s not worth the bookkeeping hassle either. Blame the government for that. It’s a great company!
For weed wackers and chain saws, most use Trufuel50. The website linked above will help you determine whether it’s the 40:1 or 50:1 ratio you need.
